Coaching
I am a registered psychologist with training in performance and coaching approaches. When providing coaching, I work outside my role as a health practitioner — focusing on performance and personal growth, not diagnosis or treatment. If you require Psychological support this is offered through my private psychology practice.
What can I support you with:
✅ Set and achieve personal or professional goals
✅ Build routines, habits, and accountability
✅ Boost focus, motivation, and productivity
✅ Improve performance in sport, study, or work
✅ Prepare for psychology job interviews and assessments
✅ Strengthen confidence and self-belief
✅ Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
✅ Navigate challenges, decisions, and transitions

Who is coaching for?
Coaching is best suited for people who are mentally well and looking to improve performance, build habits, or achieve specific personal or professional goals. It’s ideal for those who want practical strategies, accountability, and support to perform at their best in sport, work, study, or life in general.
-
Who is coaching NOT for?
Coaching is not a substitute for psychological treatment. If you are experiencing significant mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or crisis situations, psychological support may be more appropriate. Coaching does not involve assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.
FAQs
-
No. Coaching is not a health service — it is a future-focused, goal-oriented process that supports performance, growth, and accountability. Psychology involves assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health concerns.

If it becomes clear that your needs are more appropriate for psychology, I will discuss this with you and provide referral information. If you book a psychology session with me, we can incorporate coaching approaches within those sessions. However, it’s important to note that once you begin with coaching, we cannot convert those sessions into psychology sessions. Coaching is not a health service and does not involve assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. Please keep this in mind when deciding which type of support best fits your needs.
-
Coaching is best for people who feel mentally well but want support to achieve goals, build routines, or enhance performance. If you are experiencing distress, mental health difficulties, or need treatment, psychology may be a better fit.

Coaching sessions are $150 per hour. Please note that coaching is not a psychological service, so Medicare rebates and private health insurance cannot be applied. Sessions are available face-to-face in Chermside (Brisbane) or online, whichever suits you best.
