1. Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is designed for mothers who are feeling mentally or emotionally stretched and want time to pause, reconnect with themselves, and be supported in a calm and nurturing space.2. Do I need experience with yoga or meditation?
Not at all. All practices are gentle and beginner-friendly. The yoga and meditation are designed to be accessible and restorative for all levels.3. What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing (to walk & do yoga), a water bottle and towel (optional). Everything else — including tea, breakfast, yoga mats, and workshop materials — will be provided.4. What food is included?
A nourishing breakfast on arrival (overnight oats and granola bowls) and a light morning tea will be provided. Herbal teas will also be available throughout the morning.5. Do I have to participate in everything?
No. This day is about listening to what you need. All activities are optional and you are welcome to take breaks or step out whenever you like.6. What if I’ve never been to a retreat before?
That’s completely okay. Many women attend their first retreat alone. The space is designed to feel welcoming, relaxed, and supportive from the moment you arrive.7. Is this group therapy?
No, this is not group therapy.
While the retreat is facilitated by a registered psychologist and grounded in evidence-based practices, it is designed as a supportive, educational, and restorative experience rather than a clinical therapy service.
There may be opportunities for reflection and shared experiences, but there is no expectation to disclose personal information, and therapeutic interventions are not provided in a group therapy format.
